The Institute of Loss Adjusters of Nigeria (ILAN) and its United Kingdom counterpart, Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters UK have entered into a collaborative relationship that will define their mutual benefits going forward.
ILAN team led by the President, Pastor Ike Chibueze Udobi currently in London, was received by CILA President, Hugh Kennaway and several key members including Deputy President Melissa Cunningham, and Executive Director, John Bissell.
The meeting deliberated on the collaborative relationship between both bodies which is intended to improve and advance the practice of the profession generally.

Some of the key areas of interest are emerging risk, energy/special risk and other high skill areas where the Nigerian Loss Adjusters will immensely benefit from.
Both bodies have agreed in principle to collaborate on these critical aspects of claim adjusting, while framework for implementation of the agreements reached in this meeting will be put in place by both bodies technical team shortly.
The Nigerian team had in attendance, past President, Darlington Mgbojikwe, past council member Michael Oranye and two other members of ILAN, Ifeyinwa Doris and Patricia Nkechiyelu.
