The Chief Executive Officer, of Sovereign Trust Insurance, STI, Olaotan Soyinka, has been named the 2023 Africa’s Insurance Brand CEO of the Year. The new pearl adds to his erudite and well-grounded underwriter with over 25 years cognate experience.
He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, and a graduate of insurance from University of Lagos and also holds an MSc degree in Marketing from the same University.
He joined Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc in March 1998. A seasoned Professional who has plied his trade in both Marketing and Technical Divisions of the organization. His overwhelming wealth of experience in providing instructive leadership to the company has seen it take an enviable position amongst the comity of insurance companies in Nigeria and beyond.
He has been a major contributor to the next phase of the growth agenda for the Underwriting Firm with his ingenious managerial skills in managing talents and resources. He has attended several management and professional courses both at the international and home level. He is indeed a thoroughbred insurance Practitioner with distinguished merits to his name.
Soyinka is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School having successfully completed the Senior Management Programme of the Institution. He is also a member of the prestigious Ikoyi Club 1938.
