National Insurance Commission has cleared 1557 employers from the statutory three employees and issued them with certificate of compliance with provisions of the Pension Reform Act 2014 as at 21 January 2022.
This is contained in the schedule of employers issued with certificate of compliance with provisions of the PRA 2014 as at 21 January, 2022 posted in the Commission’s website.
The schedule specifies the names of organisation, employer code, RC number, compliance certificate, issued date, expiry date, number of employees and amount of contributions remitted in 2021.
The date of issue ran from 4th January to 21st January and they are all to expire 31 December 2022. PenCom publication indicated that Union Bank Plc had the highest amount of contributions remitted in 2021 with N18.69bn from 2200 employees, followed by Dangote Cement Plc with N1.69bn from 6438 employees, while Zenith bank was next with N1.26bn from 6785 employees.
Other top contributing employees are Setraco Nigeria Limited with N500.22m contributed by 3332 employees, following after is Jaiz bank Plc, with N461.09m. The next in the order is Coronation Merchant bank Plc with N240.52m contributed by 130 employees
