As part of a way to celebrate the Executive Governor of Lagos State,Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu @ 56, Horizontal Initiative Concept Limited, has planned to feed 20,000 Lagosians via LASGOBIG FREE MEAL TICKETS . It is scheduled for 25th June, 2021.
The project initiator, Mr Emmanuel Amuwo, said it is important to include free meal tickets as part of the plans because of the present tough condition “and we hope to use the Governor’s birthday to encourage Lagosians that the situation we are in is a phase and will eventually pass. On the other ,we want the governor to know he is loved which will be a boost for him to perform more.”
Amuwo reckoned that the world is experiencing a tough time and yet to fully recover from the negative impacts of the COVID-19, but adds that it is important we move on, which is what the Lagos State Government has done.
The statement by the project initiator cleared that it is not government sponsored but borne out of the commitment to support the state to recover faster, because there has to be a synergy between the government and the people and this is one of the ways to communicate love.
He said the theme for this year ” TRUST AS A VITAL TOOL TOWARDS ACHIEVING A GREATER LAGOS,” communicates to the government that it is important to win the trust of the people in other to achieve a Greater Lagos. There are some policies that require positive behavioural responses in other to achieve desired objectives. Such responses will be positive if there is public trust.
