The new Exco of Corporate Affairs Managers Committee CAMCONIA today at its inaugural meeting shared the roadmap of its administration with members for year 2024.
The broad span focus which the Chairman, Segun Bankole in a statement said include but not limited to the first among equals, starts with: strengthening the image of CAMCONIA in the Insurance industry in the country; and following is, ensure that heads of insurance companies see the value of corporate communications in their organisations.
Bankole who is DGM, Corporate Communications & Investor Relations, said the body would “take a place of relevance in industry-related activities that will help enhance the Association’s contributions to the growth of the insurance industry.”
Included in the road map is fostering good relationship with all industry related parties such as, CIIN, NCRIB, NIA and the regulator, NAICOM. Like a co-joined platform it would “ensure good collaboration with the insurance media community.
Also fresh on the table is “revive and re-vitalise the annual CAMCONIA retreats” and also place a premium on the welfare of CAMCONIA members.
