From today, CFC cyber insurance policyholders will have immediate access to cyber security risk mitigation experts through the insurer’s cyber incident response app. The latest tech upgrade also features proactive and targeted cyber security alerts to aid attack prevention.
CFC’s chief innovation officer, Graeme Newman (pictured), says the threat landscape is constantly changing, and this latest upgrade will help insureds keep pace with cyber criminals.
“Our goal is to use this proprietary technology to help policyholders stay one step ahead of hackers while reducing both the number and severity of cyber claims,” he explains.
“We’re leveraging technology to provide policyholders with what we believe is the next generation of cyber insurance services. The future of this class depends on us going beyond coverage alone by giving clients access to in-house cyber claims expertise and tailored risk management services such as the proactive alerts we’ve introduced through the app.”
The app’s new Ask the Expert service provides access to CFC’s specialist technical team for help with cyber risk mitigation, and such general cyber security questions focused on best practice, compliance and legal advice.
