The new president of the Institute of Loss Adjusters of Nigeria (ILAN), Mr. Diipo Olarenwaju says this is the set time to celebrate “the vital role of loss adjusters within the insurance industry.”
Olarenwaju who was officially handed the baton of leadership of ILAN as the 13 President at the investiture ceremony at the NCRIB Building in Yaba Lagos said all bumps to loss adjusters fair practice of its profession has to give way.
He said the new way has become overdue and adjusters have been in the lurch for too long. His expression, “They deserve respect, recognition, and a good quality of life. The adjuster assumes risks daily, yet often receives minimal acknowledgment. They work tirelessly but are rewarded meagerly. They interpret policies, yet are blamed for the authors’ errors. It is time to celebrate the adjuster.”
