The Commissioner for Insurance Mr. O. S. Thomas condole with the government, people and families of victims of the collapsed 21 storey building in Ikoyi, Lagos.
The CFI while at the official commissioning of PILA House in Yaba, Lagos this afternoon stressed the need to go full force on the implementation of compulsory insurance for public buildings and buildings under construction. The Commission has been upscale sensitising governments, the private sector and individuals on the need to comply with compulsory insurance as it relates to buildings under construction.
He also commended PILA for its contributions so far to the insurance sector.
