The 2026 Insurance Week of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) is set to open on Monday, May 18, 2026, with the opening ceremony rolling out the second since the commencement a year ago 2025. This edition will not only improve but reenforce what was done last year. It will be taken place simultaneously at the CIIN Chapters across the geopolitical zones.
The eight day event starts with faith prayers, first, jumat prayers Friday, May 15, to be followed by awareness walk set to proceed from NEM Insurance House to National Stadium. On Sunday, May 17 is for Christian prayers.
From Tuesday May 19 through grand finale day Friday May 22, activities are lined up that would showcase engagement with schools, MSMEs, Markets, hackathon and the closing featuring galanite, award nite, and ambassador event.
