“The Council has grown in leaps and bounds. It is expedient to celebrate the existence and legacies of our legends. Activities heralding the celebration will commence March 17, 2022 with launching of anniversary logo and mascot,” this was the establishing remark of the President, Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB), Mr. Rotimi Edu disclosing what to expect from today recently.
Edu continues in the same manner today as he outlines what to expect, “other activities lined up for the celebration include presentation of 60th Year Book, presentation of council compendium, insurance walk to create awareness in Lagos, Abuja, awards and endowment in schools, commissioning of corporate social responsibility project, sports and corporate vision.”
He tells friends and guests at the unveiling that 21 presidents including himself have been at the rudder of the broking body directing influencing and laying the professional blocks of a professional body that now has about 500 members across the country. He profusely thanked past founders and leaders and special thanks for Olola Oladode Ogunlana and the Commissioner for Insurance, Mr. Sunday Thomas. Now, the focus is, optimising insurance knowledge in Nigeria (OKIN).
