The excellence in corporate enterprise demonstrated by Universal Insurance Plc has earned it the award of Excellence in General Insurance Leadership Company of the year 2022.
The prestigious cap was conferred on the company on Friday 3rd June, 2022, at the annual Excellence in Corporate Enterprise and Leadership Awards (EXCEL AFRICA AWARDS).
The exceptional areas captured by the awarder was the insurer’s operational excellence, branch network, effectiveness of the network, quality service delivery and customer relations and service.
The EXCEL AFRICA AWARDS is an initiative of the African Leadership Review Media and the African Institute for leadership excellence and is designed to celebrate selected African corporate organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the development of the continent, the economic aspirations of its citizenry and the transformation of Africa’s image in the global arena.
Receiving the award on behalf of the Company, the managing director, Dr. Ben Ujoatuonu, expressed his gratitude to the organisers of the event for the well-deserved award. He noted that Universal Insurance Plc has been positioned to provide excellent general insurance service to the public. He also noted that the company is ranked among the top performers in the industry in terms of service delivery, and prompt claims settlement.
