The Governing Council and entire membership of the Institute of Loss Adjusters of Nigeria ILAN, has expressed her condolences on the demise of Barr. Rotimi Edu, mni, FCIB, a former President of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers NCRIB. He was illustrious and impactful.
The statement by the ILAN President, Pastor Ikechukwu Udobi, said Edu was uncommon breed of insurance professional with exceptional style of leadership that transcends insurance. He was a legal frame to emulate and also exceptional as a past President of the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club.
Udobi maintains that Edu’ fountain of knowledge flowed to numerous sectors. Insurance benefitted immensely from his decades of practice dedicated to advancement, integration, common front for industry growth and, regulatory transformation.
He was a beacon to follow. His death will be felt deeply by all in the insurance industry and beyond the limits of insurance practice.
He seals the statement this “The entire ILAN membership will keep him in our thoughts. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family, NCRIB community and the entire industry. May the Lord grant the family, friends and the insurance industry the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
